Palak & Roshni || Maternity Photographer

This past Friday my college roommate came to visit and we decided to visit the tulip festival while she was here. While we were enjoying the beautiful flowers we had the wonderful opportunity to meet this adorable couple, Palak and Roshni. They are going to be parents for the first time and I for one am SO excited for them!!! :)

This photo shoot was a random beautiful thing! As my friend, son and I were walking around enjoying all of the tulips we found this beautiful spot that would be perfect to take some pictures, but we weren't the only ones who had this idea there was a cute couple taking pictures, well the husband was taking pictures of his newly pregnant wife, it was SO SWEET! So we decided to step to the side and wait until they were done so we could take some photos of our own ... yeah we were those people.

Anyway while we were waiting I asked if they wanted me to take a couple photos for them, tourist style. Palak agreed and handed me his camera they were so grateful. I took a couple for them on his camera but as I was taking them I kept thinking "why don't you just take some for them on your camera!? That way they can have some photos that are not just a quick snap shot" So I asked them if it would be okay and to my surprise they agreed! They were SO sweet to let me move them around and capture their beauty! They were literally glowing it was beautiful!:)

I am so grateful to have met both Palak and Roshni and that they let me capture these beautiful photos for them. Congratulations again you both will be great parents!!!

OH and P.S. I'm so sorry I accidentally stole your hair ties! We tried finding you once we realized we still had them but we couldn't find you after . :( All for the photo right? :) I guess all of my future clients should know that I might be a hair tie thief ... haha sorry :/

Behind the Camera: With the Twins || Newborn Photographer

I'm sure a lot of photographers say that they are more comfortable behind the camera then they are in front of it.

I am definitely one of those photographers, I have never really felt very good in front of the camera, but for some reason whenever my friend Lana, with Beautifully Dunn Photography, takes pictures of me she some how seems to capture something amazing!

Taking pictures with one new born, let alone two, can be time consuming, hot (from the heater) and very rewarding! I love that I had this time with my nephews before I moved away and I am even more grateful for the photos I have to remember this moment in time!

Thanks again Lana for capturing these for me!

Besties forever! <3

Twice The Fun || Newborn Photographer

Meet two of my favorite little twin nephews!

Six months ago today these two came into the world and stole everyone's heart as they came. They made a small family of three turn into a family of five.

My other little nephew was so excited to become a big brother and has lived up to the name since they have come. It has so cute to see how much he loves his little brothers. Both my sister- and brother-in-law are so happy and are so cute with all of their boys in the house! It has been so much fun watching them grow as parents. My husband and I have learned so much from them and look forward to one day starting our own little family!

Since things were so crazy when I took these photos, with the end of the semester, graduation, vacation, new job and moving, I realized I never actually posted anything on my blog about these two so I decided today would be a great day to post some pictures!

These pictures were taken when they were 8 days old and their dad and brother are not in these pictures because they were out flying in planes that day for a project (their dad is a pilot).

Their mom, Aubrey, was so amazing and so beautiful I just can't get over how great she looks! She is the sweetest person you will ever meet and you can really see how the love she has for these two just shines through the photos!

I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I do! I just love these little guys so much! As if moving to another state isn't hard enough, moving away from our nephews made it even harder!
