Thompson Family || Washington Family Photographer

This summer we have had a lot of our family visit us here in Washington. It has been WONDERFUL!! Not long ago my cousin and his cute family stop by and stayed with us for a week, they were making their way up to an island in Alaska to serve with the Coast Guard and we are lucky enough to be along their route. We had so much fun exploring Seattle and Jarom LOVED having a little friend to play with (even though he is much older than Jarom). They were so cute together, laughing, playing, holding hands and just plain old being cute together!

We love that they came to visit us and that they wanted family pictures while they were here! It all worked out so well! We look forward to them coming back soon!! They are going to love their time in Alaska though and we wish them all the best on their new adventure!

Childs Family || Washington Family Photographer

The Childs family is one of the first families my husband and I met when we moved to Washington! When I first met Renita we clicked immediately and our interaction was filled with laughter, sarcasm and genuine interest for one another. I can honestly say that I am very grateful to have met Renita and her family. We say all the time now that we met for a reason because we are all so alike!

Simone and Ethan are so much like their mom, they are smart, kind, polite and so much more. If you ask Ethan any question ranging from history to facts about the solar system he knows it. Simone is the same, she knows so much about life and even more about style! I have had the opportunity of shopping with her and her mom and I must say my style has changed since meeting them! There is never a dull moment with these three.Their love for one another is amazing. I look up to how strong and independent Renita is, she juggles so many different tasks around with perfection. If she doesn't already take pride in the way she has raised her family she should, because they are as amazing as she is!

One more thing about the Childs is that you might notice a main component of these pictures is filled with their love for their dog Gus! The first time I met Gus I was greeted with a smile and a stare much like the one in his self portrait, at the bottom of this post. I immediately fell for him as he let me pet him. I later found out that they rescued Gus from a place called Bullseye Dog Rescue here in Washington. This made my heart melt because I think that animals like Gus deserve a chance to be loved by a family such as the Childs! Gus really is like one of the kids in the family. I consider myself lucky to call them my friends!

Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy their fun family session!

My Family || Family Photographer

Meet my amazing family!! Minus my brother, Eric, who is currently serving a mission in Rome, Italy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and my husband, Nathan, who was away being trained for his new job in security at Microsoft!

Whenever my family is mostly together we try very hard to get a family picture and this year the majority of us were together, I had my camera and we were all dressed up!! So we grabbed our sweet cousin Vance and asked if he could snap some photos for us!! He did GREAT! We are all mostly smiling and we got some fun goofy photos that let our personalities shine! :) I couldn't be happier!

I just love my family so much! They mean the world to me and I look forward to seeing every one of them whenever I get the chance! I am so grateful to have such amazing family members who love one another and look out for one another! We all know there is no greater bond than your bond with family and I am grateful for our bond!

Love you guys!

Enjoy!

We are all in order, from left to right, oldest to youngest. Our brother Eric who is on his mission would have been third from the right if he was here. Next time.
